Analytics and Upgrade Options

So we’re experimenting a little at the moment. It’s fair to say that we haven’t had the overwhelming success with TrainerListing we were hoping for… There are a few reasons for that which I won’t go into right now. So, what’s new?

We’ve added brand new Analytics so PTs can track who is viewing their Profile and who is clicking to find out their Contact Details.
Redesign of the Pricing model to a monthly subscription.

I’m excited to see where this leads us over the next few months.

It’s been a while!

As the post title says; but in all seriousness, it certainly has been a while. What have we been up to? Well, we took a lengthy break for Christmas (like all of you no doubt), but we did manage to do a few things in the meantime.

1. We removed extra stuffs that weren’t being used.

2. We added Video support, which will hopefully be live in the next week.

Keep an eye out for some extra activity over the next week or two!

Features, Features and more Features

This is a really short post to let everyone know that we’re going to be adding a couple of new features over the next month or two.

Firstly, we will be adding Youtube videos to Profiles. Similar to the current Flickr integration, we’ll give PTs the ability to showcase 3 of their favourite videos on their Profile. They could be of themselves in action! That is going to be great.

And secondly, we’ll be adding Facebook Badges to Profiles. As a PT, do you have a Facebook Group? Well now everyone can see it! Can’t wait!

Redesign Live!

After a couple of weeks of testing out the new redesign, we can safely say that we are now live! Some new features were added as part of the new packaging structure and some features were removed.

It’s been an awesome learning experience. We’re planning to add some more new features in the next couple of weeks, including videos on profiles.

We’ll also re-energize our Marketing campaign over the next few weeks.

Yep, you heard it. Another re-design. Why? Well, we felt like we needed to polish our image just slightly.

We’ve worked hard in improving our search rankings, which we’re quite happy with. Next is tailoring our list of services, which involves a re-design. (Mainly we’ll be focusing on delivering accessible content in a simpler way.)

We’re also replacing some features… Exciting times ahead!

That’s a great question. Currently we’ve dropped the ball just slightly in our endeavour to conquer the world.

I’ve compiled a couple of quick snippets about where we’re at:

- We’ve improved our search rankings quite dramatically and have seen a steady flow of traffic coming our way.

- We’re attempting to roll out a new marketing campaign tailored to gyms and person training studios.

- We’re creating a new advertising campaign on Facebook.

So that’s it in a nutshell. We aim to get back on the horse as soon as possible and continue our good work.

What a New Year!

It’s definitely been quite a long time between posts here at TrainerListing. A lot has happened in the meantime. We’ve contemplated our direction and where the next year is going to take us.

The biggest and most dramatic change has been the changing of our package structure. After quite a bit of experimentation, we decided to offer a free TrainerListing Profile. (We’ve tried this before, with quite a bit more success than the paid listing.)

The new packages are tailored to help PTs in conducting a more proffesional business; the TrainerListing.com.au exposure is free.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

A quick post from us at TrainerListing.com.au to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

We’ve been a little slow on the posts to our blog, but here’s a quick update;

- We’ve increased our exposure on Google dramatically over the last couple of months.

- We’ve discussed our services with one of the Big 5 Gyms and have had extremely positive feedback.

We’re hoping that the new year will bring more exposure for TrainerListing and all our PTs.

Direction

We’ve been comtemplating the direction of TrainerListing.com.au for some time now. To us, our services are a necessity. To you, PTs especially, our services are a “nice to have”. This is a little surprising to us, so, over the next month or so we will change the way we conduct business and what we offer PTs in general.

We’ve also created new services tailored to Gyms and Studios which we will roll out over the next month, via post especially.

We might even change our look and feel slightly… We’ll see what time permits considering Christmas is around the corner.
